'Tis the season to enjoy my nativity scene, which is based on extensive theological research conducted on Wikipedia or cobbled together from what I've learned from cartoons. All I know is that Obi-Wan was one of the wisemen and Santa is Baby Jesus's godfather.

Where the Wild Things Are

Urban Outfitters had the Where the Wild Things Are Kubrick toys for $4 so I stocked up on some of the figures while shopping for my ironic t-shirts, skinny jeans, butterfly chairs, DJ headphones and shag rugs. Before I even put on my new striped hoodie, I posed my Wild Things and photographed them in this toy tribute that recreates scenes from Spike Jonze's movie.

The Sidebarrio

I grew up in the sidebarrio, man. It's no place for a kid. Sometimes you'd see a family of ten in a tiny column no wider than 35 characters. It's brutal, just brutal.
